Well you better listen my sister's and brothers, 'cause if you do you can hear There are voices still calling across the years. And they're all crying across the ocean, And they're cryin' across the land, And they will till we all come to understand. None of us are free. None of us are free. None of us are free, one of us are chained. None of us are free. And there are people still in darkness, And they just can't see the light. If you don't say it's wrong then that says it right. We got try to feel for each other, let our brother's know that We care. Got to get the message, send it out loud and clear. None of us are free. None of us are free. None of us are free, one of us are chained. None of us are free. It's a simple truth we all need, just to hear and to see. None of us are free, one of us is chained. None of us are free. Now I swear your salvation isn't too hard too find, None of us can find it on our own. We've got to join together in spirit, heart and mind. So that every soul who's suffering will know they're not alone. None of us are free. None of us are free. None of us are free, one of us are chained. None of us are free. If you just look around you, Your gonna see what I say. Cause the world is getting smaller each passing day. Now it's time to start making changes, And it's time for us all to realize, That the truth is shining real bright right before our eyes. None of us are free. None of us are free. None of us are free, one of us are chained. None of us are free.

You take a man and a woman, That just can't get along, Sick and tired of doing each other wrong. Hurtful words are spoken, precious vows are broken, Telling both nothing long in here. Oh, oh, this is where the blues begins. A young man on the street, trying hard to make his way Out there in this mean old world it gets harder everyday He tried to fight a good fight, he was trying a new ride But the dark side keep closing in. Oh, oh, this is where the blues begins Where the blues begins way down on the bottom You got to struggle to survive Where the blues begins, hard luck and trouble Takes its toll on our lives It's the same old fight, You know you just can't win, Oh, oh, this is where the blues begins. Where the blues begins way down on the bottom You got to struggle to survive Where the blues begins, hard luck and trouble It takes its toll on our lives It's that same old fight you know you just can't win Oh, this is where the blues begins. It's that same old fight you know you just can't win Oh, this is where the blues begins.

I can honestly say That I miss you Though it has been a while since then You have touched my soul And walked away You did it just Because you can Though it is time to move on Memories appear again Well you talked And you walked I should have stayed away Well you shook The way you looked Into my eyes that day I was minding my own business Hanging out around the bend I was drinkin’ wine killin’ time Hangin’ out with all my friends I was doin’ quite alright, I hope you understand Now it’s time To move on Carry on with my life And leave behind All the trouble and the strife, yeahh. It's time to carry on To leave it all behind Let bygones be bygones A different state of mind Please give it back Give it back The boy I used to be Just wondering in this world Innocent and carefree Give it back It is time to be all that I can be. It's time to carry on To leave it all behind Let bygones be bygones A different state of mind
